Wash In, Wash Out Shampoo

Superdrug Colour Effects Shampoo - Colour 6:4 Rich Red

I've worked in Superdrug for the best part of a year now, and after a long time being a hair-dye virgin, I decided to brave colouring and try their own coloured shampoo, or 'conditioning colour' which I've found really simple to use.

All you've got to do is wash your hair as normal, and squeeze out a 50p size amount of the dye onto your hand. Massage it into your hair, adding more as you need to. (The bottle should usually last for about 3/4 washes depending on the length of your hair.)

The instructions tell you to leave it on for five minutes, so I'd recommend you set a timer on your phone to be sure you don't go over or under your time. When you're done, rinse it out and let your hair dry as you usually would.

Overall, I'd give the dye a 7.5/10 purely because I expected the colour to be really strong from what I seen on the front of the bottle. It was noticeable, and was enough for others to ask, "Have you dyed your hair?!" Apart from that, it left my hair feeling smooth and silky and it done no damage at all. Well worth the £1.30 I paid for it.

Oh, and, don't worry about it staining your bath or shower or face, it comes straight off!
